Habitat Unit HU2
HU2 is designed to control the relative humidity and the temperature of hyperbaric chambers up to 30 bar.
HU2 is designed to meet the most recent standards regarding humidity reduction in chambers.
Operating at 50% relative humidity, it can accommodate up to 4 divers.
Considering that comfort relative humidity is around 60%, HU2
can easily accommodate up to 6 divers.
HU2 is divided into 3 compartments:
• Cooler: The exchanger is supplied with chilled water to reduce the gas temperature and reach the dew
point. The condensation water is evacuated by gravity through a penetrator.
• Fan Compartment: 2 fans create the gas fl ow through HU2, thus around the chamber.
• Heater: The exchanger is supplied with hot water to reheat the gas coming from the cooler before it is
sent back to the chamber.
Two sensors measure the chamber atmosphere and the blowing temperature.

HU2 is designed to enter Ø 600 mm doors and it is made of stainless steel.
HU2 is available in horizontal or vertical versions. The horizontal HU2 is designed to be installed under bunks.
When associated with COMANEX ECU REGULATION RACK, Habitat Unit HU2 is able to regulate, under steady conditions, the temperature within ± 0.5°C and the relative humidity within ± 5%.
