Hyperbaric/Hypobaric Fire Extinguishers

The new hypo/hyperbaric fire extinguishers are especially designed to be used in hypo and hyperbaric chamber from 0.2 to 6.5 ATA.
Really suitable for use in the commercial diving, medical hyperbaric industries but also for high altitude and space simulators.

Pulverised water spray with additive. Extinguisher exclusively reserved for use inside hypo/hyperbaric chamber.
These extinguishers are designed as an alternative to high Pressure Extinguishers in order to facilitate maintenance operations.
The additive used is biodegradable and nontoxic to aquatic organisms and fluorine-free (PFAS free). PFAS are well known as forever chemical pollutants.
The pressurised gas pushes the extinguishing agent to the outlet nozzle to transform it into extinguishing foam. As the inlet pressure is only 15 bar, it produces a foam jet adapted to the size of the hypo/hyperbaric chambers which are confined spaces.
They can also be supplied loaded unlike high pressure extinguishers.

The hypo/hyperbaric fire extinguisher is available in 2 sizes : 7.0 liter and 5.0 liter.
