The Environmental Control Units are dedicated to hygrometry and temperature control and CO2 removal.

The internal units are designed to treat the gas directly inside the chambers. With the external units, the gas is circulated outside the chambers to be treated.

Equipement produced by COMANEX:

Internal Units:

• Habitat Units: HU1 is designed to control the temperature only. HU2 and HU3 control temperature and hygrometry. HUs are controlled from a regulation rack.
• SDC/DDC Heater: Used for heating or cooling chambers. They are generally manually controlled.
• CO2 Scrubbers: Depending on the desired autonomy, single or twin-baskets are available.

External Units:

• CxRU: The COMEX Regeneration Unit controls the temperature and the hygrometry and removes CO2. The standard version also provides hot water for sanitary installation.
• ESU: Basically on updated and contact version of the CxRU; generally associated with the COMANEX Regulation Rack.

Hot and Chilled Water Generator: COMANEX provides a full range of HCP to supply internal or external units. For HRL, COMANEX designed a dedicated HCP compact unit.

Regulation Rack: Associated with HUs or ESU, the COMANEX regulation rack stabilises the temperature within ± 0.5°C and the hygrometry within ± 5%.
