Conical Frustum Viewports
Designed to be fitted in COMEX standard diameter 220 mm flanges, but other dimensions and working pressures are available on request.
Certified according to ASME PVHO-1.
The complete assembly is made of:
• Acrylic Conical Frustum window with O-ring
• Window support with O-ring
• Retaining ring and screws (3 off)
Delivered fully assembled and tested.
Standard conical frustum viewports are available either in:
• 30 bar working pressure
• 45 bar working pressure
Note about Pressure rating:
Due to the developments of PVHO's requirements over the years, the original 45 bar Acrylic Window geometry may no longer be rated 45 bar for a maximum operating temperature of 50°C.
45 bar Viewport and Acrylic Window may now be ordered:
• rated 45 bar/41°C,
• rated 38 bar/50°C,
or any pressure/temperature ratio in between.
Working pressure and design temperature to be mentioned with order.
30 bar viewport is still pressure rated 30 bar for 50°C.
